The Woman Behind the Work

I’m Erin King, founder of Journee In Her Shoes. A single mom. A coach. A woman who had to rebuild her self-worth from rock bottom not once, but many times.

I created this space because I was once where you are, and I know all about the silent battles, the strength mask, and pretending to be okay even when you're not.
I’ve cried and slid down the bathroom wall. I’ve smiled through heartbreak. I’ve lost myself in relationships, motherhood, and expectations that weren’t mine.

I am not a therapist.
I am not here to diagnose or fix you.
I’m here to walk beside you because I know what it's like to be in your shoes.

And I want you to know: You are not too far gone. You are not too late. You are not too broken.

Through my 5-phase Journee Framework, I help women go from overwhelmed and unseen to grounded, clear, and becoming.
This work isn’t surface level. It’s deep, emotional, and necessary but you don’t have to do it alone.

Everything I offer from the No Longer Her program to the Power Hours; I created with you in mind. The woman who always shows up but forgot how to show up for herself.

This is for the woman I used to be. And it’s for the woman you’re becoming.

 Empathy Through Understanding

At Journee In Her Shoes, our mission is to provide a safe space for women, especially single moms, to openly share and embrace their stories without fear of judgment, misunderstanding, or gossip. We are dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where women can find solace, understanding, and empowerment as they navigate life's challenges.

Our vision at Journee In Her Shoes is to cultivate a sisterhood among women, built on love, support, and understanding. We aspire to create a community where women uplift and inspire each other, breaking the silence that often accompanies single motherhood. Through our efforts, we aim to provide a space where women can thrive together, transforming isolation into community and ensuring no woman walks this journey alone.
